Russian hockey players defeated the national team of Finland in the opening match of the Swedish stage of the Eurotour. The match, held in Saint-Petersburg, ended with the score 2:1 (0:0, 1:0, 1:1) in favor of the Russians.

The national team scored Alexei Kruchinin, who scored a goal in the 36th minute, and Anatoly Golyshev (59th minute), RIA Novosti reported.

The washer in gate of the Russian team scored Olli Palola (41).

In the next match opponent will be Russia and Sweden. The meeting will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden on 11 February.
