The new head of the Agency for strategic initiatives can become the Director of the direction “Social projects” ASI Svetlana Cumshewa, told RBC sources. It will replace on this post of Andrey Nikitin
Lead Agency for strategic initiatives (ASI) can the Director of a direction “Social projects” ASI Svetlana Cumshewa, told RBC two people close to the presidential administration and a source close to the government.
The current head of the Agency Andrey Nikitin will be appointed by the Governor of the Novgorod region on Monday, 13 February, said three sources RBC, close to the Kremlin.

In ASI Cumshewa since 2011, since the establishment of the Agency, where she served as corporate Director. “Cumshewa built a regional network, engaged relationships with government agencies, projects in improving the regional investment climate,” — says the interlocutor of RBC, close to the Kremlin. In August 2015 Cumshewa became the Director of the direction “Social projects”, retaining the post of head of the project office rating. The Director of the social aspect of ASI, as the head of the Agency, is appointed by the President.

In the “Social projects” engaged in additional education of children, in particular, we are talking about industrial parks “Kvantorium”, which opened in 19 regions. Implement “Social projects” and programmes to develop technical means of rehabilitation for persons with disabilities, and programs to support volunteering.

The Agency for strategic initiatives is an Autonomous non-profit organization created to support promising projects medium-sized businesses, improve the business climate, promoting the development of young managers.

The ASI projects
Among the first projects that have received Agency support, were mainly the initiatives of state-owned companies and corporations, and current or former employees of state agencies.
In 2011 the Supervisory Board of the Agency approved the project of the first national championship workers WorldSkills. A year later, Russia joined WorldSkills international movement, and then won the right to host the world championship of working professions, to be held in 2019 in Kazan.
For 2015, the state Duma passed 80 bills and amendments initiated by ASI. The Agency is charged with implementation of the National technology initiative (NTI) is a program for creation of fundamentally new markets and create conditions for global technological leadership of Russia to 2035.
As of February 10, in the work of the Agency are 404 project, including 142 business project, 144 educational project and 118 social projects.
The goal of ASI
Achieving Russia 20 places in the ranking of ease of Doing business by 2018. In 2016, the country ranked in this ranking 40th place.
Expenses and income
The Agency has almost no financial resources — the cost of ASI in 2015, according to financial statements in “SPARK-Interfax” was 1.4 billion rubles.
