The President of Russia Vladimir Putin awarded well-known trainer of the Russian figure skating team Tatyana Tarasova, the order “For merits before Fatherland” IV degree, reported TASS.

It is reported that Tarasova won the award for the big contribution to sports development and long-term work. Tatiana Tarasova celebrates 70-year anniversary. Earlier, Putin sent the coach a congratulatory telegram, which wished her good health, success and inspiration.

As Putin said in a telegram among the pupils Tarasova – a lot of skaters, “which glorified our country at competitions of the highest rank, gave unforgettable moments of triumph and joy to millions of fans of figure skating.”
