The cancellation of the visit of the Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to Iran, the newspaper “Kommersant” said government sources. The publication writes that Iran planned to fly several high-ranking officials. In addition to Rogozin, the first Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov and Minister of energy Alexander Novak.

Earlier, according to the newspaper, the upcoming visit of the Russian officials announced the Ambassador of Iran in Russia Mehdi Sanai. Sources told the publication that the reason for the cancellation of the visit was the announcement by the Iranian side information about the upcoming visit of Rogozin, although he initially asked for confidentiality.

The newspaper reminds that the Iranian airline Iran Air at the beginning of December last year signed with the American Corporation Boeing the contract for the supply of 80 aircraft.
