– The foreign Ministers of Russia and the USA Sergey Lavrov and John Kerry discussed by phone on Saturday, the implementation of the agreement on the truce in Syria, said the Russian foreign Ministry.
“Considered the course of realization of the Russian-American agreement of September 9, which strengthen the cessation of hostilities (CBD) in Syria, the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the civilian population and the joint fight against terrorists,” – said in a statement on the Agency’s website.
Lavrov said that “as a result of the Russian side the work is not without difficulty, but cannot solve the issues of cooperation of the Syrian authorities with the UN to increase humanitarian access.” He urged the us side in a similar way to influence the militants, informs the Ministry of foreign Affairs.

“In connection with the ongoing allegations by Washington about the violation of CBD Syrian government forces, the head of the Russian foreign Ministry urged not to limit the charges and to ensure the full participation of us military created in February-March of this year the mechanism of control over observance of CBD and responding to the breach,” – noted in the Ministry.
Lavrov drew the attention of the Secretary of state on the refusal of some illegal armed groups to join the truce. He recalled the “documented commitment of Washington to separate units of the moderate opposition from terrorist groups that continue hostilities, or to use force against them to enforce the ceasefire.”
“The Russian Minister once again urged to publish the Russian-American agreement on the Syrian settlement, to resolve any ambiguity in the international community’s perception of the real situation with their execution”, – underlined in the message of the foreign Ministry.
The Russian foreign Ministry noted that the conversation took place on the American initiative.
The Russian-American agreement on Syria was reached in Geneva on 9 September after hours of talks between Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of state John Kerry. On September 12 they entered into force, this day was introduced by the cessation of hostilities in Syria.
September 17 was held consultations of the UN security Council, during which it was planned to discuss the agreement of Russia and USA on Syria, but they were cancelled.
