– Deputy Chairman of the CBR Mikhail Sukhov, the outgoing 17 October, will be transferred to VTB, have informed “Interfax” a source close to the Central Bank. According to him, Sukhov will hold the position of Chairman of the Board VTB.
Last week it became known about the personnel reshuffle in the Supervisory unit of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. The current curator of the supervision of the first Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Alexey Simanovsky from October 17, will become adviser to the Chairman of the Central Bank, and in its place will be Dmitry Tulin, who in the rank of first Deputy Chairman dealt with issues of monetary policy.
Simultaneously it became known about the upcoming departure of M. Sukhov, who was in charge of Central Bank oversight of systemically important banks, the development and implementation of measures to raise the sustainability of systemically important credit institutions and the banking sector, licensing of activities of banks and their financial recovery, as well as the development of international cooperation and public communication.
Currently, VTB Board consists of 13 people: the head of the Bank Andrey Kostin, the two first Deputy Chairman Yuri Soloviev and Vasily Titov, five Deputy chairmen (Olga Dergunova, Valery Lukyanenko, Herbert Moos, Mikhail Oseevsky and Andrey Puchkov), as well as five members of the Board (Denis Bortnikov, Victoria Vanurina, Vladimir Verkhoshansky, Maxim Kondratenko and Erkin Norov).
Sukhov came to the Central Bank in 1993, to 1996 he was chief of the division of research and forecasting Department of the Central Bank across Moscow, as well as Deputy chief GU of the Central Bank in Moscow.
In 1996-1998 was the head of the consolidated analytical Department of prudential banking supervision of the Central Bank. From 1998 to 2001 he was Deputy Director of the Department of prudential banking supervision of the Central Bank. In 2002-2012 he was Director of the Department of licensing and financial rehabilitation of credit institutions of the Central Bank.
In 2012, Sukhov was appointed Chairman of the Central Bank, joined the Board of Directors since 18 October 2013.
