The speaker appealed his house arrest

The ex-Minister of economic development of Russia Alexei Ulyukayev appealed the decision of the court on its conclusion under house arrest on charges of receiving a bribe in the amount of two million dollars, reports TASS with reference to his lawyer Timofei Gridnev.

The punishment Ulyukayev?

According to Gridneva, an appeal from the decision of the Basmanny court was filed on Friday. In the complaint protection of a former official asks the court to cancel the decision of the district court and to elect against speaker a milder measure of restraint not involving deprivation of liberty.

The court confirmed that the complaint actually filed, and the date of its consideration in the Moscow city court will be known next week.

Alexei Ulyukayev, was detained in the night of 15 November and then by a court decision placed under house arrest. He is charged with receiving and soliciting bribes of two million dollars. President Vladimir Putin sent an official to resign in connection with loss of trust. The former Minister does not admit his guilt.
