Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy out of the presidential race, losing in the first round of primaries the conservatives
As reported by Reuters, in the first round of the primaries, the former President of France Nicolas Sarkozy scored 22.9 per cent of the vote, losing to former Prime Ministers Francois Fillon and Alain Juppe, who scored 43,6 and 26.7% respectively.
By prior arrangement it is the winner of the primaries will run for President of France next year from the center-right coalition.
The second round of the primaries must pass on 27 November.
In the past few months the front-runner, the conservative candidates were considered Juppe, however, over the last week, it was to keep up with Fillon, who headed the Cabinet of Ministers in Sarkozy 2007-2012. Last bet on promises to take strict measures for recovery of the national economy.
