More than 3 thousand people were evacuated in Japan after quake

Over 3.1 thousand people have been evacuated in the Japanese Prefecture of Fukushima after the massive earthquake that occurred off its coast, reports TASS.

It is reported to host evacuees were equipped with about 60 of the time points.

It is noted that in the North-West of Honshu island closed about 150 schools, children are encouraged to stay home.

Local residents are recommended not to approach the coastal zone because of the threat of tsunami.

Previously on the East of the island of Honshu was felt a strong earthquake of magnitude of 7.3. According to the National meteorological administration, the epicenter of the disaster was located East of Fukushima Prefecture, the focus thus lies at a depth of 10 km under the ocean floor.

On victims and damage were reported. However, it was announced about the threat of tsunami.
