In a new ranking of the British consulting company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) best employment of College graduates in the world includes seven Russian universities. However, in the first hundred was not a single
Moscow state University. M. V. Lomonosov (MSU) Moscow state Institute of international relations (MGIMO) were the best of the seven Russian universities included in the rating of Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which contains 300 best of employment of graduates of higher educational institutions.
And MSU and MGIMO entered the range from 101 to 150-th place. Two more Russian universities — Russian economic University (REU) named. G. V. Plekhanov Saint Petersburg state University (SPbSU) ranked from 151 to 200-th position.
Three hundred of the QS includes three Metropolitan University: Moscow Institute of physics and technology (MIPT), Higher school of Economics (HSE) and the national research technological University MISIS.
The ranking is led by Stanford University, the Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT) and the Chinese Tsinghua University. The top ten also University of Sydney, Cambridge, of the French école Polytechnique, Columbia University, Oxford, University of California, Berkeley and Princeton University.
Earlier, the British made the QS global ranking of the best universities in the world. As told “Kommersant” the regional Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia Zoya Zaitseva of QS, the company decided to make a separate study in response to the request of the students themselves.
The basis of the rating was five indicators: the reputation of the companies-employers cooperation with employers, success of graduates, cooperation between companies and universities, the level of employment of graduates. The success of graduates was assessed, in particular, on the “leaderboard”, such as Forbes, Fortune.
