Korean dog clone will live in Russia

Now Saamski Institute of biotechnology and continues its activities as the only place in the world where scientists have cloned dogs, and next week Korean experts are going to transfer three dogs to the Russians.

Only Koreans have grown a cloned more than 800 dogs, some of them running in Korea, USA, China and other countries. Animals-clones help security personnel to fight terrorists, to search for explosives and drugs. Selskogo scientists from the Institute of biotechnology for many years are working together with North-Eastern Federal University named after M. K Ammosov, located in Yakutia, and in honor of the 60th anniversary of University education in this region are going to give the regional branch of the Russian military-historical society three of the cloned dogs of the breed Belgian Malinois. These dogs are genetic relatives of the best trackers around Korea, as confirmed by Korean scientists. Earlier, Russia was not included in the list of countries where working dogs are clones.
