According to the head of the Ministry of culture Vladimir Medinsky, the biographies of heroes of the great Patriotic war, in particular, Zoe Kosmodemyanskaya and 28 Panfilov, should be treated as the lives of the saints. He stated that in the framework of the commemorative events in the village of petrischevo, devoted to the 75 anniversary from the date of execution of Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya by the Germans, reports “Interfax”.
“She [captured] — Saint, the same Saint, as the 28 Panfilov heroes, as hundreds and thousands of our ancestors, who gave his life and took a terrible death for our lives. To adopt their lives just as the lives of the saints,” said the Minister.
According to him, to doubt their heroism “there is something to look for under a magnifying glass, count — 28 or 38 [Panfilov] is to do the same, as did the police (…) which passed it [Captured] the Nazis.” “The Germans 30 pieces of silver saved, as you know, they gave him a bottle of vodka for it. Yes it burns in hell! As will burn those who questioned, digging and trying to refute the feats of our ancestors,” concluded Medina.
Mnister also promised that petrishchevo recreate Kosmodemyanskaya Museum.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who also attended ceremonie, added that he believes Kosmodemyanskaya “national Saint”.
In October Medinsky has criticized those who questioned the story of the 28 Panfilov. “My deepest conviction is that even if this story was invented from the beginning to the end, even if it wasn’t., even if there was nothing is a sacred legend, which just shouldn’t be touched. And the people that do, the filth washed-up,” said Medina (quoted by “RIA Novosti”). This statement he made after watching the movie “28 Panfilov” directed by Andrei Salope.
In 2015, the Medina was a conflict in connection with the story of the 28 Panfilov. The national archive has declassified a number of documents, including those relating to and legends of 28 characters. The Director of the state Archives of the Russian Federation Sergey Mironenko called this story a myth. The culture Minister then urged the leadership of the state Archives does not give its own estimates documents and to practise their profession.
