Two people were killed and two others were missing as a result of heavy rains in Italy, reports Agence France-Presse.
It is reported that the dead were two elderly men who lived near the province of Genoa and the neighbouring Piedmont. Missing inhabitants of Sicily and Agrigento in the South of Italy.
It is noted that, because of the rains, hundreds of residents left their homes. Were closed schools and businesses and blocked roads.
At this point the rains have stopped in most parts of Italy, however, the risk continues to be the region of Calabria in the South and a number of places in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna in the North.
