Upon the death in Moscow on 20-year-old chess player Yuri Eliseev began pre-investigation checks, reports RIA Novosti with reference to the Metropolitan Directorate of the TFR.
According to authorities, on Saturday evening while in the apartment houses on Pyatnitskoe highway, Elisha tried to climb out the window of the 12th floor on the balcony, but could not resist and fell down. From the received traumas the young grandmaster has died on the spot. The witnesses of the accident were his friends who were in the same apartment.
Informed about the death of a player on his page in social network “Vkontakte” announced his friend, grandmaster Daniil Dubov.
Yuri Yeliseyev was the world champion among cadets 2012, and the champion of Russia among players under the age of 16 years. This year won the annual Moscow Open festival. In the world ranking FIDE occupied 212-e a place.
