Chessplayer mark Taimanov died at the age of 90 years

Soviet chess player, international grandmaster mark Taimanov died at the age of 90 years, reports TASS with reference to the press service of the Russian chess Federation.

In the Championships of the USSR has participated 23 times, in 1956, won the tournament. He also participated twice in the tournament competition, where determined opponent of the world champion in a match for the chess crown.

In addition, the famous chess player was and for her role in the movie. He starred in the 1936 film “Beethoven’s Concerto”, where she played a young violinist Yanka Malevich.

Later he studied at the Leningrad Conservatory in piano, for a long time led concert activity with his wife Love Brooke.
