Kyrgyzstan has denied the involvement of the citizen of the Republic to attack in Istanbul

Kyrgyzstan has not confirmed the involvement of the citizen of the Republic by the name of Yahya Mashrapov to the terrorist attack in Istanbul, committed in the night club on 1 January, Interfax reported with reference to the official representative of the Kyrgyz State national security Committee (GKNB) Rahat Sulaimanov.

According to him, Mashrapova interrogated when he arrived in Kyrgyzstan, of evidence of his involvement in Istanbul attack are not found and released him, however, the check continues. The SCNS in constant contact with Turkish counterparts, said Sulaimanov.

The chief of the district Department of internal Affairs of Kara-Suu district (Osh region, southern Kyrgyzstan), Bascur Abdykalykov informed the Agency that Mashrapov like the sketch of wanted terrorist. The victims of the bombing on the night of 1 January in the night club Reina in Istanbul were 39 people, including a Russian woman Nurana Hasanova. About 70 people were injured. Responsibility for attack was assumed by the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia).
