The Moscow city court rejected the Prosecutor’s office to extend the arrest of property of the former Deputy head of the Main Directorate for economic security and counteraction of corruption (Guebipk) interior Ministry major-General Boris Kolesnikov, who allegedly committed suicide in 2014. Kolesnikov was one of the main accused in the case on organization of criminal community in Quebec, which was created under the direction of the chief architect, General Denis Sugrobova. The TFR investigated the circumstances of the death of Kolesnikov and came to the conclusion that it was suicide, which led to a complex of factors, including the impact of traumatic brain injury. To initiate a criminal case on incitement to suicide and neglect of a consequence have refused.
