The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov said in an interview with “RIA Novosti” that the Republic of Syria sent a battalion of military police of the defense Ministry. “We departed to Syria battalion of the military police from among the residents of the Republic for the work in those localities, cities where divorced parties signed a peace agreement,” he said.
Yevkurov noted that the purpose of the battalion peacekeeping mission to ensure the safety of the air group of the Russian Military space forces, and of the Centre for reconciliation of the warring parties in Syria. “I am confident that our boys will adequately perform the tasks of the Supreme commander of the defence Minister”, — said the head of the Republic.
