The murder of his brother, Kim Jong-UN in the Malaysian airport took no more than five seconds. A surveillance camera aimed at the scene was disabled, but the Malaysian police have reconstructed the course of events in the video from other cameras
The murder of Kim Jong-Nam, half-brother of the leader of North Korea, took no more than five seconds, reports The New Straits Times.
Referring to the surveillance cameras, the publication writes that Kim Jong-Nam was in the reception area at the airport. One woman in line who was in front, distracted his attention, and the other held in a chokehold from behind and quickly applied to the face of the brother of North Korean leader piece of fabric. Immediately after this, the participants of the incident left the scene and the airport.
The publication notes that surveillance cameras aimed at the scene, and the one that could show how the woman left the scene, did not work. However, the police restored the course of events, based on the data about the movements of people from other surveillance cameras in the airport.
After the attack Kim Jong-Nam went to the toilet, then asked for help at the registration Desk. Soon he began the attack, and he died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Malaysian police are working this case jointly with the intelligence services.
“We have reason to believe that this may be the work of foreign agents”, — said the Director of the special Department of the Federal police of Malaysia Datur Seri Mohamed. However, immediately noted that the investigation is continuing and that the crime was committed by foreign agents. According to him, “except for the two attackers, of course, there are other participants in the crime.”

NST reported, citing its sources, that the police are looking for at least four more. The sources at the hospital reported that during a preliminary examination on the body found no puncture or stab wounds. An autopsy was held on February 16, the newspaper notes, however, the results published so far were not.
Earlier on suspicion of involvement in the murder of Kim Jong-Nam was arrested three people. It became known the name of the first suspect — the citizen of Indonesia city Ayshan. The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Indonesia confirmed her identity. Detained by the police and her alleged partner — citizen of Malaysia Muhammad Farid bin Jalaluddin. The second female detainee was a Vietnamese passport in the name of Doan thi Huong, however, the foreign Ministry of Vietnam on this occasion, the official statements have not yet done.
About killing Kim Jong-Nam, half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, it became known on February 14. Then, according to law enforcement officers, “responsible for the killing” put on two women, presumably acting “poisoned needles, a spray and impregnated with poison lace fabric”.
