According to the Senator Franz Klintsevich, the President of the United States Donald trump is more and more inclined to “play by the old rules” set even Barack Obama, despite Moscow’s desire to “get along” with Washington

The first Deputy head of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Frants Klintsevich said that the first month of the presidency, Donald trump did not give serious grounds to hope for improvement of relations between Russia and the United States.

“I don’t see any serious reason to change their [Russian-American relations] for the better, despite the sincere desire of Russia will use the terminology of Donald trump to put up with US” — quoted Klintsevich “Interfax”.

“We cannot ignore the precarious situation of the current American President. It is attacked from all sides, forcing you to play by the old rules, and he seems more inclined to it. In short, my forecast is not optimistic: no matter how worse,” said the Senator.

According to the Senator, within one month after the inauguration of the trump was not removed any question relating to the prospects of development of Russian-American relations. “On the contrary, they became more,” — said Klintsevich.

However, he believes that such a provision was the result of the previous administration, “which can be said, canonized anti-Russian trend of US foreign policy, and now to reverse it will be very difficult”.

On 16 February, the Agency Bloomberg with reference to informed sources reported that the Kremlin ordered the state media to stop praising broadcast of U.S. President Donald trump. The order reflects growing fears the high-ranking Russian officials that the new administration is not as friendly as originally thought, said the Agency.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov on request of the correspondent “Газеты.Ru” to comment on this information said, “ducks are Flying”.

A source in the Kremlin, the Financial Times said that the new relations with Moscow Trump hinder to establish allegations of contacts with Russia. “It seems that the extensive anti-Russian campaign in Western media have made contact with us so toxic that trump, a leader who was determined to take a “fresh start” in relations with Russia, has now decided to opt out”, — told the publication, an unnamed representative of the Kremlin.

A similar thought was expressed by President Donald trump. According to him, false news in the media significantly interfere with the normalization of relations with Russia. “I just want to tell you that false reporting in the media made by you, guys, — said trump, speaking to reporters, lying, terrible, unreliable news very difficult negotiations with Russia.”
