– The Pechersky court of Kiev chose ex-to the Minister of justice of Ukraine Oleksandr Lavrynovych, the measure of restraint in form of detention for a period of 60 days.
The corresponding decision the court took on Friday, having satisfied the petition of Prosecutor’s office, which asked for the arrest of a suspect without any alternatives that provided him sane articles about the participation in the seizure of state power in 2010.
On 6 September the General Prosecutor of Ukraine Yury Lutsenko reported that the ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and former Minister of justice Lavrynovych reported about suspicion in the capture together with other individuals of state power in Ukraine through constitutional coup in 2010.
In particular, Lavrynovych is suspected of organizing illegal, without a decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Constitution of Ukraine by means of introducing into the Unified state register of legal acts of the text of the Constitution of Ukraine of 1996 and its official publication.
As you know, in 2010 the constitutional court of Ukraine returned the country to a presidential-parliamentary form of government, returning to the President some of the lost powers. The decision of the COP, in fact, enacted the Constitution of 1996. 1 Oct 2010 the text of the “new Constitution” was published in the special issue of the newsletter “Official Bulletin of Ukraine”.
