Spartak is back in the Champions League and celebrated the event by a draw with Slovenian “Maribor”. However, much more emotions this event brought red and white fans, because of which the match was even stopped. The Union of European football associations (UEFA) for this reason opened against the Moscow club’s disciplinary case.

In the first half of the match – “Spartak”, which was held in Slovenia on 13 September, fans of the Moscow club began to use pyrotechnics, and one lit with fire, flew to the area of the Central circle and almost landed in the judge. The main referee Deniz Aytekin interrupted the match for several minutes, and the game was resumed only after the smoke cleared over the field.
UEFA has not passed by this incident and has opened disciplinary proceedings against “Spartak” for the use of fans of pyrotechnics and the throwing on the field with foreign objects. This is the official website of the organization.
Recall that the match Maribor – Spartak ended with the score 1:1. The only goal was scored by Aleksandr Samedov, a “MK” conducted live online broadcast of this meeting, which took place in the first round of the Champions League.
