“Two earthquakes recorded near the Eastern coast of Japan

– Seismologists recorded two earthquakes with magnitudes of 6.1 and 5.2, which occurred almost simultaneously near the Eastern coast of the Japanese island of Honshu, said on Wednesday the website of the U.S. Geological survey.

The hearth of the first earthquake – magnitude 5.2 – was located at a depth of 35 km 70 km North-East from the village Namie in Fukushima Prefecture.

The second earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km and 281 km to the North-East of the city of Kamaishi in Iwate Prefecture.

About victims and destructions are not reported.
