Two – time European Champions in figure skating, winners of the world Championships in pairs YUKO Kawaguchi and Alexander Smirnov finished my career, reported on the website of the Federation of figure skating of Russia (FSFR) on Friday.

In 2010 and 2015, the pair won the European Championships, world Championships twice – in 2009 and 2010 – became the bronze medalist of the world Championships.
Kawaguchi and Smirnov were supposed to play at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, but because of the injury of Alexander were forced to miss the Game in Russia.
