New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker retained the title of world champion under version WBO in the heavyweight division, defeating the Briton Hughie fury in the match that was held at the “Manchester Arena”.
Two judges gave the victory to Parker, one recorded a draw: 118-110, 118-110, 114-114.
As marks “Bi-bi-si”, the team fury was dissatisfied with the outcome of the fight, stating that they intend to appeal the decision of the judges.
For Parker’s 24th win from 24 possible.
For the cousin of former world champion Tyson fury is the first career defeat.
