“Coach “Jokerit” will go from the HC to the national team of Finland

– Coach “Jokerit” (Helsinki) Jukka Jalonen will leave the post at the end of the season and will return to the national team of Finland, reported the press service of the club Continental hockey League (KHL)on Wednesday.

Jalonen coached the club from Helsinki in 2016. From 2012 to 2014 he worked with SKA St. Petersburg, also was headed by the Finnish COD.

From 2008 to 2013 he has headed the national team of Finland. In 2011, he won the world championship, and the year before became the owner of bronze of the Olympic games.

Currently Jokerit takes the third place in the Western conference of the KHL.
