Some time ago the police, who were standing in a cordon at the intersection of Hrushevskoho and Sadova, began to ignore the activists who carry tents and sleeping bags to the Parliament building.
The correspondent of Agency “Interfax-Ukraine” reported that the cordon came convoy of activists led by the party leader “movement new forces,” Mikheil Saakashvili and Deputy Sergei Leshchenko. The police conceded activists. A large part of the cordon on Sadovaya street activists moved to the building of Parliament together with Saakashvili.
Meanwhile, people’s Deputy of Ukraine Mustafa Nayem (faction of “Petro Poroshenko Bloc”) said that participants of the rally under the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine intend to remain in the Parliament building until their demands are met.
“We remain and will continue to achieve our demands as long as necessary”, – Nayem wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, the protesters in Central Kiev, organized by Mikheil Saakashvili’s party “movement new forces” and demanded to change the electoral system, create an independent anti-corruption court to revoke the parliamentary immunity. In addition, Saakashvili demanded the resignation of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
