– Syrian General Issam Zahreddin, the commander of the operation in Deir ez-Zor, died Wednesday, according to inter-Arab newspaper “al-Masdar”.

The General was 56 years old. He commanded the 104th brigade of the Syrian Republican guard, an elite military formation.
Previously, the Agency EFE reported that the soldiers of the Syrian government army recently held a series of successful operations against the terrorists of ISIS in Deir ez-Zor and now controls 92% of the city.
