“The decline in real incomes of the Russian Federation for 9 months amounted to 1.2%

Real disposable money income of population of the Russian Federation in January-September 2017 fell by 1.2% compared to the same period in 2016, said Wednesday the Federal state statistics service (Rosstat).

In September, real income fell by 0.3% – as well as in August, after falling 1.6% in July, the zero dynamics in June-may.

The real income of the Russian population is declining for the fourth consecutive year: in 2016, revenues fell by 5.9% in real terms, in 2015 there was a drop of 3.2% in 2014, declining 0.7 percent.

As reported, the Ministry of economic development in August has slightly increased its forecast of growth in real income in the current year to 1.2% from 1.0%, but the fourth quarter should show significant growth of real incomes – above 4%.
