– The Turkish Parliament extended the state of emergency in the country for another three months, said on Tuesday the Anatolian news Agency.

Before the government recommended that Parliament extend the state of emergency imposed in July 2016 after the military coup.

The last time a state of emergency in the country renewed in July 2017, his term expired at the end of October.

A state of emergency in Turkey was introduced on 20 July 2016 after a failed coup attempt. During the riots in Ankara killed at least 250 people, more than 50 thousand people were arrested.

Authorities accused of organizing the coup living in the United States of the Turkish theologian Fethullah Gulen. Gulen himself denies any involvement in the coup attempt.
