“Alfa-Bank has filed lawsuits to recover the debt from the former owner of the Bank “Ugra”

– Alpha Bank has addressed in petty-bourgeois court of Moscow and the Moscow Arbitration court with claims about collecting of debts from businessman Alexei Khotin and its controlled companies, reported “Interfax” the press service of the credit institution.

The defendants in the lawsuits are the Hawtin, OOO “fazis” and a number of legal entities-guarantors, said the representative of Alfa-Bank.

According to the case file Cabinet, 18 October the Moscow Arbitration court filed a lawsuit, where the defendants, in addition to “Phase” are JSC “Corporation Unit”, “Priority”, “Ventus”, OOO “Resurs”, LLC “BRIZ-21”, CJSC “Alfa-invest”, CJSC “Extract-Fili” and ZAO “Optimatization”. The claim sum – 2.58 billion rubles.

The total volume of claims to Khotin and his companies, the press service of Alfa-Bank does not disclose. According to a source in the financial market the total amount of lawsuits in the near future may increase substantially.

Khotin belonged to the Bank “Ugra”, the license of which was revoked on July 28. The businessman also owns a number of companies in the oil sector and in the segment of real estate and development. In particular, the entrepreneur owns the Four Seasons hotel.

Alfa-Bank in the first half of 2017 occupies the 8th place in terms of assets in ranking “Interfax-100” prepared “Interfax-TSEA”.
