– The number of American diplomats exposed to the “acoustic attack” rose from 21 to 24, said Friday state Department spokesman Heather Nauert.
“Based on data from ongoing surveys of the staff of the embassies (USA, Cuba), we can confirm 24 cases of impact on health of employees”, – said the representative of the state Department.
“We have not seen new cases of attacks,” – said Neuert.
Earlier, U.S. state Department reduced the number of employees in Havana, due to the fact that, on suspicion of the American experts, diplomats at the U.S. Embassy in Cuba was exposed to unknown devices that had a negative impact on health, particularly on hearing, vision and orientation in space. Initially, these symptoms were found in 21 U.S. diplomatic representative.
