– The Central election Commission of Georgia published the first data of the outcomes of the meeting held on Saturday the elections of local self-government.
As reported in on Sunday night at the briefing the CEC Chairman Tamar Zhvania, at the election of the mayor of Tbilisi according to preliminary data of the 737 polling stations counted, the results on 165 stations, about 22%.
“The leading candidate from the ruling party “Georgian dream”, Kakha Kaladze received 51.4% of the vote. The candidate of the party “United national movement” Zaal, Udumashvili received by 16.68%. Independent mayoral candidate Aleko Elisashvili received at this stage is 16.6% of the vote,” – said Zhvania.
