– Turkey asks to abolish visas for drivers involved in a trade, said Turkey’s economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci at the XV meeting of the mixed intergovernmental Russian-Turkish Commission on trade-economic cooperation in Kazan on Saturday.

According to him, there are a few small problems that could be solved.
“Our carriers would be asked to abolish the visa regime for our drivers. Transport is the heart of trade, thanks to him, as soon as possible (to increase – if) barter,” said Zeybekci.
He noted that countries have a strategic geographical location and, in the opinion of the Minister, to work out new joint projects in this direction.
Zeybekci reported that in the first eight months of this year the trade turnover between Russia and Turkey has increased by 30%. “We certainly understand that not yet reached those levels between the two countries before the infamous event. But I think that 35% annual increase (turnover – if) it is possible, and by 2020, $100 billion – a figure which we can easily achieve,” the Minister said.
He also said that countries should strive to increase the volume of settlements in national currencies.
