The Prosecutor General said in a video message Poklonskaya about “Matilda”

The General Prosecutor’s office announced that it would not conduct additional investigation in connection with the video message of the Deputy of the State Duma Natalia Polonskaya, dedicated to the release of the film “Matilda”.


According to the statement by the representative of SE Alexander kurinny, which is quoted by RIA “Novosti”, “In the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation reviewed the video message of the Deputy of the State Duma Natalia Polonskaya and found no grounds to conduct additional audits of the movie “Matilda”.

We will remind that earlier the Colonel had reported 43 cases to the Prosecutor General from Polonskaya, 41 of which were refused, and 2 were pending.

In the video Poklonskaya said that the Prosecutor General’s office need to “make the documents the Prosecutor’s response with the aim of revoking the license and recognition of the film’s provocative extremist material”.

She also resented the fact that in the film Nicholas II is thus the “weak-willed man fainted from lust for a woman, to dancer, to the dancer”.

Note that since an appeal to the President of the Russian Federation managed to record and the wife of the nephew of Nicholas II, Olga Kulikovskaya-Romanova: it is also required to prevent the release of “Matilda”, supposedly insulting the memory of Nicholas II.

However, according to messages in social networks, opponents of “Matilda” continue the agitation against the film.
