Poroshenko congratulated Putin pardoned the leaders of the “Majlis” with the release

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the phone talked to pardoned by Vladimir Putin and the leaders of the banned in Russia “of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people” Akhtem Chigusa and Ilmi by Umarovi. The head of state personally congratulated the activists with the release and expulsion from Russia.

Poroshenko called Chiygoza Umerov and the real patriots of Ukraine and noted that he looks forward to their return to Kiev from Turkey, the press service of the Ukrainian President.

“I believe that today You gave hope not only to those who fought for your liberation, and all the Crimean Tatars — the truth will always prevail, and we will still refund the Crimea”, — said he released the leaders of the Majlis on the phone.

In this Poroshenko stressed that there will not be to congratulate them with freedom, “because freedom will be when we will together with our Crimean Tatars in the Crimea.”

The politician also said that the release of the activists are his agreement with the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip erdoğan who previously could not open.

As it became known on 25 October, Chiygoz and umer was submitted to the Turkish authorities. The first was condemned in Russia for 8 years in a penal colony on charges of organizing the riots at the walls of the Crimean Parliament in February 2014, the second was accused of incitement to separatism (2 years in a penal colony). The President of Russia Vladimir Putin accepted the decision of the pardon Umerov and Chiygoza after the address of the mufti of Muslims of Crimea.
