– The U.S. permanent representative to the UN, Nikki Haley was evacuated on Wednesday from the camp of the UN for the displaced and homeless in South Sudan in connection with a demonstration against the President of the Salwa Kiir, told the Fox News channel, press Secretary of the American mission to the world organization.
“Haley left the camp after several hundred protesters who oppose President S. Kiir came (to the camp – if),” he said.
Shortly after Hayley left the camp, located in the heart of the capital, members of the UN security fired tear gas to disperse the crowd of more than 100 people looted and destroyed acting the office of the charitable organization, told the TV station a staff member, who wished to remain anonymous.
As noted by Fox News, the American Ambassador to the UN is in Africa in a three-day visit, on Wednesday morning she met with the President of South Sudan.

Just before Hayley left the camp, the people gave the Ambassador a letter with his position on the current crisis in the country, according to a message channel.
