“Ukraine at the NATO summit intends to discuss the provision of assistance to reforming its defense sector

Kiev. 26 Oct. INTERFAX-UKRAINE – Kyiv on NATO’s next summit will raise the issue of providing assistance for the translation sector of defence and security to the standards of the Alliance, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin.

“We have a very ambitious goal: by 2020 must tailor our security sector and defense to the standards of the NATO Summit in Brussels next year. We need to talk about what we need help with below 100% implement this plan,” he told reporters Thursday in Kiev.

According to the Minister, Ukraine needs to adhere to the agreements reached and agreed plans for the reform of defence and security.

As reported, the next NATO summit will be held 11-12 July 2018 in Brussels.
