Medina called the invention a “black list” of the Ministry of culture with Akunin and Sokurov

The Minister of culture Vladimir Medinsky commented for the first time appeared on the Internet October 5, photos of the list of “undesirable” persons, which the Agency allegedly does not want to see at the VI Saint-Petersburg International Cultural forum. Such lists, he said, was not — no one wrote and no one received.

“Confirmation that it is a strange invention is that all or almost all people from these lists not just participate in the forum, and they act as the leading”, – quotes the Minister “Interfax”.

From the point of view of the Medina such lists are meaningless because registration is voluntary — it is enough to register on the website to automatically receive a badge.

On the widespread online photos had depicted the alleged letter of the first Deputy Minister of culture Vladimir Aristarkhov, state Secretary of the head of Department Alexander Zhuravsky. It is talking about a memo, according to which entered in the list of invited cultural figures invite “inappropriate.”

On that list was a film critic, Andrey Plakhov, film critic Lyubov Arkus, writing Boris Akunin, the Director Alexander Sokurov, the journalist Fyokla Tolstaya, the scholar Rene Guerra and others.

International cultural forum will be held in St. Petersburg from 16 to 18 November.
