Estonian policeman has opened fire on the man, who was walking in the centre of Tallinn, waving two knives.
A signal about a man with knives on Harju street was received in the alarm Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
As reported the press service of the Department of police and border guard, to a scene there arrived police, but on his orders, the man did not respond. Then the police fired a warning shot in the air and then shot the troublemaker.
As a result, the man received a severe wound and died in hospital. Passers-by and police officers were not injured. The police finds out circumstances of the incident.
Local media reported with reference to eyewitnesses that the man with knives was barefoot, with a sign on my forehead and a rope around his neck.
