In turn, the Commissioner for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs, the leader of the “Party of Growth” Boris Titov has suggested that Russian athletes should take part in the winter Olympics.
“In any case it is better to go and play. You cannot leave even at the time of the Olympic movement. You can’t deprive athletes of the competitions to which they have been preparing for all his life, thus we will have struck a huge blow – especially in children’s sport”, – wrote in his Facebook.
He stressed that the decision of the IOC to the Russian Olympians is a blow to national pride.
“But to take doping is not only dangerous to the health of athletes and unfair to the competitors. Break the rules is unfair. We must give adequate, it is adequate assessment of what happened. And if we at least partially recognize the facts to punish the guilty,” – said Titov.
