“Gazprom has published data on exports to 12 foreign countries in 2017

The Corporation, in particular, published information about record deliveries in Germany, France and Turkey

Gazprom this week published data on gas deliveries to a dozen countries abroad – complete country statistics may be disclosed in the quarterly report, which comes out in mid-February.

Dynamics of supplies of journalists, said Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Gazprom” Alexey Miller: “In 2017, imports of Russian gas, in particular, has increased the country’s North-Western and Central Europe – the target region for the project “Nord stream – 2”, which Gazprom is implementing with the support of the leading energy companies in Europe. Thus, the maximum historical volume 53.4 billion cubic meters of gas “Gazprom” has put in the largest export market of the company in Germany. Growth by 3.6 billion cubic meters (7.1%) compared with the year 2016, when was recorded the previous peak value (49.8 billion cubic meters)”.

“A new historic level out the supply of Russian gas to Austria – they amounted to 8.5 billion cubic meters (25% more than the record for the Republic in 2005, and 40% more than in 2016) and the Netherlands and 4.6 billion cubic meters (4.5% to a record 2007, and 9.7%, respectively). Increased demand for Russian gas in France – shipments reached 12.3 billion cubic meters (an increase of 6.8%), Czech Republic – 5.8 billion cubic meters (28%), in Slovakia – 4.6 billion cubic meters (24.5%). In addition, record the volume of Russian gas was delivered in Denmark – 1.75 billion cubic meters (1.9% more than in 2016, when it was installed the previous maximum value)”, – he added.

Miller also noted that in 2017, the trend of growth in demand for Russian gas has continued to demonstrate the target markets of the project “Turkish stream”: “Set a new historical record of supply in Turkey is the second largest importer of Russian gas. According to operational data, “Gazprom” has exported to Republic of 29 billion cubic meters of natural gas – 1.7 billion cu m (6.2%) more than in 2014, when it was recorded the previous high (27.3 billion cubic meters). The growth of supply compared to 2016 amounted to 4.3 billion cubic meters (17.3 per cent). Increased exports of Russian gas to Hungary to 6.9 billion cubic m (growth by 21.3%), in Bulgaria to 3.3 billion cu m (4.7%), in Greece – up to 2.9 billion cubic meters (9.3%), in Serbia , to 2.1 billion cubic meters (21.2%)”.

The head of “Gazprom” informed that to date, construction of the sea gas pipeline “Turkish stream” in total on two threads laid over 700 kilometres (about 38%) of the offshore section of the pipeline.
