The President met Christmas in one of the oldest churches of St. Petersburg

The President of Russia met Christmas in the Church of the Holy and righteous Simeon the God-receiver and Anna the Prophetess in Saint-Petersburg. Footage from the Church showed “the First channel” during a live broadcast from the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

It is reported that this Church was built in the early XVIII century. Here was baptized the father of the President.
