– Defender of Omsk hockey club “Avangard” Maxim Chudinov denied the information media reported that he allegedly hit a woman at the new year party.
“I heard about this blatant nonsense. To raise a hand against a woman? I even imagine that I can’t. It could write only a notorious villain. Outright lies were written about me and my friends, all this is replicated by the press and it is very unpleasant”, – quotes the words Chudinov “championship”.
As reported by the media, at the new year party of the club was a mass brawl between players. Among the participants were Chudinov, under the hot hand which fell wife team striker Andrei Stasia. She was in the thick of things, and wished to intercede for the wife, but, according to media reports, was hit by Chudinov face.
Sources report that the cause of the conflict that escalated into a fight, disagreement in the views of the activity has already fired the head coach “Avant-garde”, the Belarusian expert Andrei Skabelka. After one of the matches he accused Chudinov of cowardice in this episode. Many players then expressed their unwillingness to cooperate with him. Disagreement with their position expressed Stas, which, incidentally, is the countryman Skabelka.
“We all work as a team, we all have a normal relationship, I talk with Andrew Stasen the same as with all the other guys in the team – said Chudinov. – Do not believe the outright lie that defames the reputation of me and my teammates, and spread by people with very clear objectives. In the end I will say one thing – our team is United and we are really going to fight for our club and our fans.”
Skabelka, come in “avant-garde” at the end of March 2017, was fired on December 29.
“The club was hoping for long and fruitful cooperation with the coach, but at the moment, as fans and the club management is not satisfied nor the quality of the game or the position of the team in the standings,” – said in a press release, “Avant-garde” in that day.
“An obvious need for qualitative changes to remedy the situation and consistent preparation for the match of the playoffs”, – stated in the message of the club.
In place of the “Avant-garde” came Gherman Titov, the team ranks second in the Eastern conference of the Kontinental hockey League (KHL).
