– The monitoring Committee of OPEC+ will be discussed at the meeting in Oman January 21, a smooth exit from the transaction to reduce oil production, told reporters Minister of energy of Russia Alexander Novak.
To the question whether any particular strategy to exit from the deal, the Minister said: “Specifically, no cooking, there is a discussion among Ministers. If we come to consensus, then decide”.
He also noted that the meeting will be discussed, including current oil prices that are near $70 per barrel and the current balance of supply and demand.
“We will look at prices, and on them long term at high levels, but the fundamentals – the balance of supply and demand. I think we will have the opportunity all these things to discuss on the monitoring Committee, which will be held next week in Oman,” said Novak.
