The IOC is not going to issue a special invitation to the biathlete Bjoerndalen for the Olympics

Sports world is worried about the legendary biathlete OLE Einar Bjoerndalen: go he is still on the Olympics or not. First, it was not included in the national team of Norway, and then the information appeared on the special invitation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). However, the organization itself, it seems, knows nothing about it.

Team Norway in the Olympic games in 2018 are not included in the final composition of the team of the biathlon OLE Einar Bjoerndalen, as it became known on Monday, January 15. The athlete admitted that he was hurt by this fact, especially in light of the fact that he could win a medal in Pyeongchang and to gain the optimal shape for the main start of four years.

However, immediately after the information appeared, according to which the international Olympic Committee (IOC) will consider a special invitation biathlete to the Games. The head coach of the Norwegian team Siegfried Mazet also welcomed the news, saying that it would be a good gesture on the part of the organization, as Bjoerndalen is the reigning champion in the sprint and was able to perform in this discipline.

However, dreams about the presence of OLE Einar in Pyeongchang, not as the audience slowly dispersed.

“There are no special invitations to the Olympic games”, – so replied to the IOC, the relevant question, according to TV 2 Sport.

Recall that despite the upcoming pass of the Olympic games-2018, Bjoerndalen have not thought about retirement. 43-year-old biathlete is going to analyze the season after it ended, and already then to do conclusions.
