In Utah (USA) helicopter crashed in a collision with a moose. As a result, two crew members were injured, and the animal died.
According to local TV station KUTV, the helicopter crew tracked down, and then tried to catch the elk on the instructions of the regional wildlife management.
It is noted that during the hunt the helicopter has fallen, one of the pilots shot the moose with the grid of the gun. However, elk in response managed to touch the rotor of the helicopter. At that moment the helicopter was at a height of about three meters above the ground.
After the collision the helicopter made a hard landing. The pilots escaped with minor injuries, but the animal died on the spot.
