The sixth day of competition at the Olympics in Pyeongchang brought the Russian team two bronze medals. This time success was achieved skier Julia belorusova, which took third place in the sprint classic, and Alexander Bolshunov, which is similarly performed among men.
At 11:30 Moscow time at the Olympic games launched the qualification in women’s skiing sprint classic style. In the quarter-finals came two representatives of Russia: Yulia Belorukova and Natalia Nepryaeva. Their success they have developed and in the next stage, and in the semi-finals, breaking the results in the decisive race.
In the final, the Swede Stina Nilsson took the lead from the start and in the future, its benefits are not lost. Second to finish came Majken caspersen Falla from Norway, but the bronze was won by Russian Yulia Belorukova. Her compatriot Natalia Nepryaeva finished fourth.
As for the men’s sprint, bronze in it won the Alexander Bolshunov, which lost only to the Norwegian Johannes Gasflow, Clebo and Federico Pellegrino (Italy).
Thus, in the Treasury of the Russian team for four medals: one silver and three bronze. We will remind that by decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the Russian team disqualified from Olympics-2018, as some athletes compete under a neutral flag.
