At least one person was injured in a shooting at the entrance to the national security Agency (NSA) of the USA in Maryland, authorities said. A suspect in the shooting was detained.

The car is shown crashed into a concrete barrier at the gates of the headquarters of the NSA in Fort Meade (Maryland). Other shots show police officers who surrounded the handcuffed man sitting on the ground next to the car.
A spokeswoman for the Fort Meade Cheryl Phillips confirmed to reporters that one person was wounded in a shooting outside the base. The victim was hospitalized. It is reported that it was a law enforcement officer.
“The police, the NSA, and local law enforcement is taking action in connection with the incident that took place at one of the points of safety at the entrance to the NSA. The situation is under control, and threats to security”, – reads the statement of the national security Agency.
