“Soyuzmultfilm” plans to release a total of 30 new cartoon series

– A new series of the cartoon “Prostokvashino” the Studio “Soyuzmultfilm” will appear online in early April, said Friday the Director of the Studio of Boris Mashkovtsev.
“In a month the new series will be available to all, it will be posted on the YouTube channel of “Soyuzmultfilm,” said Mashkovtsev, noting that the series will “literally April 1.”
In total, the Studio plans to release up to 2020 30 cartoon series, currently are in operation five of the series, said the Chairman of “Soyuzmultfilm” Juliana Slaschova.
According to her, the Studio will produce the series every 4-5 weeks “to the end of the year, a pool of 8-10 episodes can be seen on TV”.
“Cat Matroskin in a new series voiced by Mikhail Efremov. Ball voiced Garik Sukachev, the postman Pechkin – Ivan Okhlobystin and mom uncle Theodore – Yulia Menshova,” – said Slaschova.
Conflict with the assumption
In turn, Mashkovtsev said that a dispute between “Soyuzmultfilm” and Eduard Uspensky, the author of the tale of Buttermilk, according to the motive which put on a cartoon, not settled.
“Agents of Edward Mikhailovich (assumption – Interfax) we have been unable to agree on specific conditions for cooperation, but we do not leave hope. Because we know that Eduard Nikolaevich wrote a sizeable amount of scenarios, but we did not see them. But we are plagued by curiosity, it would be very interesting to see them, but still no agreements,” said Mashkovtsev.
In 2017, the assumption has published an open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin in which he said that the Studio “Soyuzmultfilm” removes the continuation of the cartoon about Prostokvashino without his consent. He stressed that “never refused to cooperate with the “Soyuzmultfilm”, never pleaded with him and was ready to grant rights to create new movies on any reasonable terms.”
24 Nov 2017, it was reported that the film Studio “Soyuzmultfilm” proposed assumption 5 million rubles for the purchase of works written after the last film adaptation for use in scenarios of future cartoon series, as well as additional payments stipulated by the regulations of the Studio of the royalties.
For his part, the writer has not confirmed this information. “About the payment of the series for 5 million rubles me no one came out. I learned about this offer through the press”, – said the assumption. He stressed that the figures sounded “Soyuzmultfilm”, do not go to any comparison with the actual cost of the works, and “5 million is an extremely small price to pay for the characters “Buttermilk”.
Cartoons about Buttermilk appeared on Soviet television from 1978 to 1984.
